Your Good Neighbour
Deep, caring cleaning by Janiece — for homes that deserve more than a quick once-over.
See if we’d be a good fit →I don’t do rushed, surface-level cleans. I care for homes.
I work my way through a space slowly and thoroughly until it feels like a home again. A few honest things about me: I’m meticulous, I bring all my own gear (including more vacuum cleaners than is strictly reasonable), and I’m conscious about the planet in how I work.
I also have Tourette’s — I mention it upfront so you know what to expect, and so we start off understanding each other. My clients tell me it’s never an issue once they know.
I work best with people who’ll let me do my thing and trust the result.
What “deep cleaning” actually means.
Most cleaning is a sprint — wipe the obvious surfaces, vacuum the middle of the room, tick the boxes, move on. That’s not what I do.
I move gradually through a home, noticing what it needs. The grimy hinge nobody looks at. The skirting board behind the couch. The shelf that hasn’t been properly wiped in a year. I take the time it takes to do it properly — because half-done isn’t really done.
A standard weekly clean
Surface wipe-down. Quick vacuum. In and out in an hour. Looks fine for a day or two.
The way I work
Thorough, room by room, paying attention to what’s actually been missed. Care, not checklist.
Of course I’ll keep on top of the everyday things too — but that’s not really the point of me.
Two ways to book. Both work beautifully.
You set the time, I set the priorities.
Book a block — 2 hours, 3 hours, longer — and I’ll focus on what your home needs most that day. Trust me to read the room.
Tell me what matters, and I’ll take the time it takes.
If there’s a list of things you’d love done, share it. No clock-watching, no rushing — I’ll work through it properly.
Either way, you don’t need to hover. That’s rather the point.
Transparent. No surprises.
Weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or the occasional one-off. Some weekends and after-hours available — just ask.
If this sounds like your kind of clean, let’s see if I’ve got room for you.
A few quick details — not a long admin form, I promise.
