Almost every groom buys off the rack, and off the rack is cut for a generic man who doesn't exist. The cuffs are too long, the sleeves are too wide, the waist is too broad, the hem is too long.
None of that is a problem with the suit. It's a problem with the fit, and the fit is fixable.

Prices are a guide. Your final quote is confirmed at your first fitting, once we’ve seen the suit and what it needs — and nothing is started before you’ve agreed to it. Your quoted price is then locked in.
What Makes Us Different
We reshape, we don't just shorten
Plenty of places will take your trousers up. Fewer will open a jacket properly. We take it up to the closest millimetre, matching the length carefully to your wrist bone. We recreate the vent so well you'd never know it had been touched.

Bring the whole party at once
Groomsmen turn up in threes and fours, usually from three different towns, usually with three different ideas about when they're free.
Book them as one block and we'll see the lot in a single morning — measured together, worked together, finished together and collected in one trip. The groom knows the job is done. Nobody is chasing a best man in the last fortnight.

When to come in
Eight weeks out is ideal — there's room for a second fitting if he changes shape between now and the day. Four to eight weeks is comfortable for most jobs. Inside four weeks it still gets done, but it goes to the front of the queue and carries a priority fee, so tell us the wedding date when you book.
If the suit is still being ordered, book the fitting now and bring it when it arrives — the appointment is the thing that's hard to find, not the sewing time.
Questions grooms actually ask
- What do I bring?
- The suit, the shirt you're wearing on the day, and the shoes. Belt or braces too if you'll wear them. If the shoes haven't arrived yet, bring the closest heel height you own and tell us.
- Can you alter a hired suit?
- Usually only temporarily — most hire companies allow work that can be fully undone and nothing that's cut. Check with them first and tell us what they've said, and we'll work within it.
- I'm planning to lose weight before the day.
- Tell us at the first fitting rather than after. We'll book you in later than we otherwise would and leave the seams where we can get back into them. What we can't do is guess — a jacket taken in twice is two jobs.
- How long does it take?
- Most suits are a week to a fortnight in the studio depending on what's booked ahead. Trouser-only jobs are quicker. If you're inside four weeks, say so when you book.
- Do you do the fathers too?
- Yes. Father of the bride, father of the groom, and anyone else standing at the front. Add them to the same booking.
- My fiancée is having her dress done with you.
- Then we already have your date in the diary. Mention her name when you book and we'll line the two up so nothing collides in the last fortnight.

How Does It Work?
Book Your Spot

Reserve your alteration appointment in advance through our booking calendar. You will receive confirmations and reminders with our address, so you don’t need to worry about a thing.
Bring Your Shirt & Shoes

Be sure to bring everything you’ll be wearing on the day. This includes shoes, shirt, belt and, of course, your suit. We will see what you need, pin, take notes, and make an invoice. Payable in full or as a 50% part payment.
When It’s Ready

You will receive a text and email letting you know your garment(s) are ready for collection, along with a link to book your pick up. Simply find a time that suits; come on in and confirm that your suit is now perfectly tailored.

We triage our jobs according to event date. Depending on current volume and alteration complexity the average time is 2-8 weeks. However if needed sooner simply ask.
